Jennifer Bolich is an Idaho native who transplanted to California to pursue her dreams of becoming a veterinarian. Following high school, Dr. Bolich was accepted to the University of California at Davis where she received her B.S. in Animal Science with an Equine Emphasis. Before being accepted to Veterinary School, Dr. Bolich was an anesthesia researcher at UC Davis and has been published in the American Journal of Veterinary Research. In addition to her veterinary training, she completed an externship in Equine Medicine in Santiago, Chile. Dr. Bolich proudly received a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis in 2006 and subsequently relocated to the Peninsula area to join VCA Bayshore Animal Hospital and it's team. She is also a past President of the the Peninsula Veterinary Medical Association and enjoys triathlons, cycling, swimming, traveling, skiing, fly-fishing and playing guitar.
Dr. Hughes earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illionis at Urbana-Champaign in 2011. She subsequently completed a rotating small animal internship at VCA San Francisco Veterinary Specialist. After her internship, she practiced emergency medicine in San Francisco and is now focusing on general practice. Dr. Hughes has a special interest in urgent care and neurology. In her free time, Dr. Hughes enjoys baking and cake decorating, reading, playing with her cat Diamond and exploring San Francisco with her husband.
