Description
Graduating at the top of her class, Lisa completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Computer Science with plans to continue on to medical school. However, after working intimately as a rehabilitation therapist for children with autism, Lisa realized that the nursing profession was a better fit, as she thrived in environments that allowed her to build therapeutic relationships and spend quality time caring for people. On an academic scholarship, Lisa went on to complete her second degree in nursing and graduated Summa Cum Laude with High Honors from the highly selective accelerated nursing program at the University of Maryland.
